Slayer

        Slayer é uma banda americana de thrash metal de Huntington Park, Califórnia, formada em 1981 pelos guitarristas Jeff Hanneman e Kerry King. Slayer chegou à fama com seu reinado de sangue em 1986, e é creditado como uma das "quatro grandes" bandas de thrash metal, juntamente com Metallica, Megadeth e Anthrax. Desde o seu álbum de estreia em 1983, a banda lançou doze álbuns de estúdio, dois álbuns ao vivo, um box, seis videoclipes, dois extended play e um álbum cover. Quatro dos álbuns de estúdio da banda receberam certificação de ouro nos Estados Unidos. A banda já recebeu cinco indicações ao Grammy, ganhando um em 2007 com a canção "Eyes of the Insane", e um em 2008 para a canção "Final Six". A banda sofreu influencia da banda punk G.B.H. como nessa gravação cover da música Sick Boy apresentada abaixo.
